Designing with restraint, creating an exhibition intervention that brings focus to the work while respecting the character and weight of the surrounding space.
Part of the Earth Month festival, this exhibition presented work from an artist residency across the Scottish Highlands. Set within the historic halls of the Institut Français d’Écosse, the design needed to complement rather than compete. Minimal plinths in a muted pastel pink introduced a subtle contrast, creating clarity and rhythm while allowing each piece to stand out.
